Dear parents, players and cheerleaders, and team members,

The St-Bruno Barons Football Club is proud to announce the kick-off of our 2010 fundraising campaign.  Our fundraising campaign is based on a yearbook format.  This yearbook will be handed out to players, cheerleaders and staff at the end of the 2010 season. The funds will be used mainly for the purchase of new equipment, for the payment of buses for the players and for other operation expenses of the club.

The Album will contain advertising as well as,

Team pictures                                                    Season pictures
Highlights                                                         Honours and awards
Statistics and standings                                      Team trivia
Team rosters                                                     Information on our website

Our fundraising is based on the sales of advertising space in our year book as well as advertising on our web site, sideline yard markers, field banners.

These banners and sideline markers will appear at approximately 50 home games as well as all home playoff games.

The program deadline will be October, 15 th , 2010. All advertising and payments must be handed in to the team managers by this time.

RADIO-CANADA DES SQUELETTES DANS LE PLACARD

Last Wednesday, 20 volunteers participated to a TV program called Des Squelettes dans le Placards broadcasted at Radio-Canada. During this TV game show, the Barons were playing against the Pumas football team from Lanaudière. Our Barons volunteer ended up winning the TV game show. They were awarded a check for the Barons of $3000.00 all going to our fund raising. The executive committee wishes to sincerely thank all 20 volunteers for their precious time given, to Marie-Claude Proulx for her initiative and Dominique Trudel for the full support she provided Marie-Claude. THANK YOU EVERYBODY

HUGE SUCCESS - FUND RAISING ACTIVITY - THANK YOU TO ALL VOLUNTEER

This past Saturday members of the BARONS organization were at the following stores: Fruitical, Couche Tard and M&M located on Clairevue Boulevard . Players and volunteers were collecting funds by bagging for customers at Fruitical and opening doors at Couche Tard and M & M. Thanks to our generous members who volunteer their time, we were able to reach and even surpass our objective of $1000. The executive committee whish to congratulate and thank Dominique Trudel, Fund Raising director and all the volunteers whom without, this fund raising would not have been possible.
