2011 Registration

In order to promote team spirit and offer more structured fund raising activities, each team will be responsible for raising a certain amount in fund raising. They’ll have to work in team in order to achieve their goal. The objective will be determined by the executive. Early Registration will be from January 1, 2011 to February 15, 2011. This year we will have 2 Tykes, 3 Atom, 3 Mosquito, 2 PeeWee,

1 Bantam & 1 Midget Teams.

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL ?

Join a football organization that will be celebrating its 48th season. You will learn the sports and all the strategies behind it in a dynamic environment where fun and team spirit are our priorities. You'll be led by a motivated and talented coaching team.

EQUIPMENT
At football, the equipment you need to bring are cleats shoes and girdle for under your pants which is sold by the Club. That's all! The Club supply everything else; practice and game jerseys and pants, helmet, shoulder pads, padding, belt, sox and mouth piece.
CAMPS
A camp is organized by the Club for the selection of Bantam and Midget players only. For all other categories, all players are welcome to register on a first come first serve basis. This year, we will have a Spring Camp for Titan, Atom, Mosquito and Pee Wee.
PRACTICES
Football season officially starts at the beginning of July with practices on Tuesday:
- 6:30 p.m. for Titan – Atom - Mosquitos - Pee Wee
- 7:00 p.m. for Bantam
WHERE
All home games and practices are held at Park Rabastalière in St-Bruno.
SEASON
Official season start mid-August for ten consecutive weeks ; five home games and five away games. The regular season ends at the end of October and play offs begins.
FUNDRAISING
All players & cheerleaders must take part in our fund raising program. The amount to be raised is established by the executive of the Club and is included in the registration fees. The money raised pays for equipment maintenance and the general operating expenses of the Club.
CHEERLEADERS
NWe will be offering the cheerleaders program in season 2010. The practices are starting on July 5:
- Titan, Atom, Mosquito and Pee Wee: Tuesday 18h30 to 20h00
- Bantam: Tuesday from 19h00 to 20h00
The cheerleaders must be born in the years of 1993 to 2004
The cheerleaders will perform at the 5 home games.
The Cheerleaders co-ordinator is Christine Lafleur.

Registration fees are $ 65.00 for resident and $ 75.00 non-resident.
The fund raising is not mandatory for the cheerleader program. To get a copy of the registration form, email the following person: Christine.lafleur@baronsfootball.ca

In order to be able to run the program, we need one volunteer parent manager for each team.

2010 SPRING TRAINING CAMP TITAN – ATOM – MOSQUITO – PEEWEE  

On Saturday May 1st and Sunday May 2nd, the Barons will be holding spring training camps for Titan, Atom, Mosquito and Peewee. It is the first meeting for our young players not to miss! They can meet up with their past teammates and can invite their friends to come along and try it out. This camp is an ideal opportunity to learn the basics for a position where they may not have tried as yet. COST: $20.00

BANTAM & MIDGET REGISTRATION AND SELECTION CAMP 2010

Even if camp started on April 15, simply show up at next practice. Camp ending May 27.

The registration fees for the camp are $55.00. You can submit your registration by filling out the appropriate form at the top of this page and bring it to camp next Thursday.


COACHES FOR THE 2010 SEASON

The St Bruno Barons Football club has a new procedure in selecting coaches for the upcoming 2010 season. Anyone who is interesting in being part of a coaching team, must submit their request by filling out an application.

You will find the form at the top of this page. Once you have filled it out, there are three ways of submitting it either:

Please note that anyone who is in their second year of coaching with the Barons and do not have an NCCP level, must obtain certification for Level 1 Coaching offered by Football Quebec in order to be considered for a coaching position. Coach's currently holding a Level 1 MUST enrol in a level 2 clinic. Please check out this link: www.football-quebec.com under Tackle Football Formation to find the dates, times and places for the next sessions.

The St Bruno Football Club will refund the registration fee of your certification on presentation of your certificate and the invoice at the end of the season. You must coach a team within the Barons organisation for the complete year to be eligible for the refund.

The head coach's position will be chosen by both the President and the Vice President-Football of the Football Club.


CERTIFICATION FOR NCCP LEVEL FOOTBALL-QUEBEC

Anyone interested in obtaining their coaching levels are invited to visit Football-Quebec's website under Tackle Football/Formation at www.football-quebec.com .

Check for the dates, times and places for the certification. Please note that anyone who is in their second year of coaching and do not have an NCCP level, must obtain certification for Level 1 Coaching.
